Effective and systematic integration of design into the product development process is one of the key opportunities for the development of the competitiveness of the furniture industry. In the long run companies in globalized markets are unable to survive just with low price products.
Integrating design into all phases of new product development requires proper understanding between the producers on one side and designers on the other side. The lecture and discussion will be on examples of good practice to see how to establish cooperation, which allows long-term success.
